Spooky Hidden Window

This window is tiny and quite hidden from view unless you happen to look up just at the right moment. The owners have taken advantage of it and displayed this guy to scare you even more..

Craft 365 - 09

Packages Ready!

My first packages to send out for my etsy shop!

I spent the day today with my sister taking photos of her work for her etsy shop (mini patisserie) and her Christmas figures:

Also, some Christmas tree decorations that I made:

Christmas Puds

Gingerbread men

It's getting very Christmassy in the alicestronaut household!

I got a rather good text message on Saturday morning from my Mum suggesting we go to the Grand Hotel for afternoon tea. Not something I would ever turn down so a few hours later we were sitting in front of this:

There were a few more cakes and sandwiches but I wasn't thinking about photos when they brought that out to us!

Craft 365 - 08

Well, posting every day is proving to be very difficult. I've had a busy weekend and a very tired week recovering from it so far. Also by the time I've done any craft, the light has gone and it's very hard to photograph it! So... despite the fact that I've actually managed to do a bit of craft every day, even if it was just a few rows on my wrist warmers, I've decided to only count the days I manage to blog as days in craft or photo 365. I'm going to have to get inventive with photo 365 as I haven't been able to get out of the house very much. So expect lots of photos of my various belongings!

But enough of all that, here is crafting 365 day 8:

Fetching

Two lovely pairs of fetching which I am very pleased with. The deep pink is for me and the grey is for Poppy.

I like looking at the buildings on Western Road, some of them are really beautiful. The Primark building is especially nice (above the ground floor anyway) and the Argos building is another looker.

I finished a wrist warmer! It's so beautiful, I love it. Gorgeous yarn, wonderful pattern.

Oops, forgot to post this yesterday! I worked on fetching and it's coming on nicely. It looks so pretty, I'm very excited to finish it.

Today's photo is of one of my favourite things in the house. It rarely gets used for any actual dusting but it's ever so pretty..

Craft 365 - 05

Today I started knitting on fetching. Very cute little cables; cute but hard to photograph.

Craft 365 - 05

The colour is way off here, it's actually a beautiful rich dark reddish purple.

My dinner was so nice today that I felt it deserved to be labelled craft as well.

Yum

That's sweet potato, parsnip and carrot chips by the way.

Yum

Or rather it WAS.

No crafting yesterday as I was not too well. So craft 365 day 4 has been pushed back to today. I finished the zebra badge off and knitted a swatch for my planned fetching glovelets.

Not much crafting today as I woke up feeling grotty and then had work this afternoon. But I did finish knitting one of the ice creams I'm making a certain small someone for Christmas. It needs sewing up and stuffing (and the chocolate chips adding!) but it looks pretty tasty already.

Craft 365 - 02

Today I made a friend for my tiger badge - a little lion.

Felt Badges

Then I wanted to do something a bit different so I tried a leaf design. It was really satisfying to sew this one.

Here they are together along with a zebra design to go with the other wild animals.

I've had ideas for felt crafting for a while and it's great to finally get them made into something physical.

OK, first up some craft. Only a little bit of crafting today but it's a start. Introducing my tiger badge! I've yet to get the badge/brooch backs but I think he looks rather cute (although my photography here leaves something to be desired..)

First Post

After weeks of putting it off I have finally embarked on my crafting 365 and photo 365 projects. I'm aiming to take at least one photo and work on my crafting every day for the next year. Wish me luck!
